TANNING SALON SALES ASSOCIATE

Looking for a great job in a fun, friendly and luxurious environment? Join our team of certified tanning professionals with the mission of guiding our guest to “Look Good & Feel Great.” This upscale tanning salon is hiring a part-time sales oriented individual to work approximately 30-40 hours per week with opportunity for advancement.

Position Highlights:
o Promote membership & product sales to help guest achieve their tanning and skincare goals.
o Effectively communicate services offered and differences between each, as well as applicable promotions, that will benefit individual guest.
o Maintain salon cleanliness according to state regulations and corporate standards at all times.
o Efficiently process guest from POS to desired services using advanced computerized system.
o Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless salon operations.

Requirements:
o High School Diploma or equivalent
o Must be a minimum of 18 years old
o Ability to lift 50lbs
o Friendly and reliable
o Experience in sales/retail environment or tanning industry
o Strong sales and customer service skills
o Excellent computer skills
o Professional demeanor
o Team player with strong communication skills and maturity
o Attention to detail and cleanliness
o Self-motivator and ability to perform at optimal level with little supervision
o Excellent references
o Flexible Availability (Must be able to work some morning, afternoon, evening and weekends)
o Salon Hours:
o M-F: 9am to 9pm
o Sat: 10am to 4pm
o Sun: 12pm to 5pm

Compensation:
o Hourly salary based on knowledge and experience
o Commission on product and membership sales
o Free UV tanning
o Discounts on products and sunless tanning
